How it Works

Choose: Select your item from a selection of over 300 items including mugs, plates, bowls, moneyboxes, picture frames and many more. A selection of seasonal shapes is available throughout the year.

Create: It's easy to do - friendly staff will be there to help you at every stage. You can select a design from our ideas books if you get stuck! You don’t have to be an artist to get satisfying results as you can trace designs or use our patterned sponges.

Collect: Once you have finished your item, we will glaze it with our foodsafe glaze and fire it to produce the glossy, final piece ready for everyday use. You then collect your masterpiece about a week later (earlier by arrangement).

There is a studio fee of  £4.00 per painter per visit to cover the use of paints, glazing and firing. All you do then is add on the cost of the items you want to paint. It is best to book a table in advance, especially during busy times such as weekends and school holidays. A minimum time of 1½ hours is guaranteed at busy times. At quiet times you can stay all day if you want – and many do!
