These 1hr sessions are perfect for children to explore clay and what fun creations they can come up with! NOTE: THESE SESSIONS ARE FOR CHILDREN AGE 8 AND ABOVE ONLY. Taught in small groups of 8 children, our tutor Karen is on hand to help your child create something exciting out of clay! They can choose to sculpt a small item or use the clay cutters to make decorations of their choosing. Sessions take place in the Pottery Room studio, just a 30 second walk from Cafe Ceramica! Meet at Cafe Ceramica and we will walk you over. Due to the size of our studio, there isn't room for parents to stay but you can either drop and go or stay on sight and get yourself a drink at the bistro! Sessions run on the following days: Thursday 30th July 10-11am or 2-3pm, Thursday 20th August 10-11am or 2-3pm. What should I wear? Make sure don't wear anything fancy, clay is very messy! The clay is organic and easily washable. How long is the session? These children's sessions are 1hr long. My child is younger than 8 years old, can they attend? No, unfortunately this workshop is only suitable for children 8+. Can we come back to paint our creations? Yes of course! You can book in to paint your clay items at Cafe Ceramica, this is included in the workshop fee. The clay items will need to be fire once before painting, we will get in touch after approx 2 weeks once your items are ready to paint. How long will you keep our items for? We can keep your clay items for 3 months, unfortunately we don't have the space to store items for longer. If you aren't local to us and can't come back to paint them, we can post out the items for an additional fee and they can be painted at home with acrylics! I need to cancel my session/course, can I get a refund?  Cancellations and exchanges can be offered up to 7 days prior to the date of a session.
