About Us
Café Ceramica is a pottery painting cafe, established over 25 years ago in Sutton Coldfield.
Get creative in our relaxing studio, where our friendly and helpful staff will help and guide you. We have a wide range of hot and cold beverages available.
Whether you are a complete beginner, or one of our many regular customers, our aim is to give you an enjoyable and relaxing experience and to see you come back again and again.
BOOK
We advise to booking in advance, especially during busy times such as weekends and school holidays. Please note we only take bookings over the phone on 0121-308-3984, we don't take bookings online. Walk-ins are welcome during the week in term time, but it's always best to call ahead to check availability!
There is a £6 studio fee per painter to cover the use of paints, and the glazing and firing process. Then add on the cost of the items you want to paint. Your studio fee/s are payable at time of booking over the phone.
The session time is 2 hours long but if you need more time, you can also book a 'double session' of 4 hours for £12 studio fee per painter - subject to availability.
CHOOSE
Choose your item from a selection of over 200 items including mugs, plates, bowls, money boxes, picture frames and many more! A selection of seasonal shapes are available throughout the year. Items are individually priced from £6 - £45. Our stock changes frequently so we don't have a set price list as such, however, starting prices are as follows - mugs from £10, plates from £12, animals from £12 and vases from £18 - £45. Items under £10 are magnets, round + square coasters, name plaques, egg cups and
hanging decorations.
CREATE
All ages and abilities are welcome here, our friendly staff will be there to help you at every stage. On each table we have a QR code for our Pinterest page if you get stuck and need some inspiration! You don’t have to be an artist to get satisfying results as you can trace designs or use our patterned sponges.
Our paints are a specialist underglaze, water based and non- toxic. We have a core range of 25 colours to choose from, as well as a selection of "on trend" colours that change with the seasons!
COLLECT
Once you have finished your item, we will glaze it with our food safe glaze and fire it to produce the glossy, final piece ready for everyday use. You then collect your masterpiece about a week later (earlier by arrangement).
Just visiting? We can post your items for an additional postage cost, just ask a member of staff during your session!
